Never give up attitude and hard work pays off for Megan Carver and and undefeated Fall season for her school team at Cascade Auburn Middle School.
.
"Megan tried pitching last year and had some results but was not totally satisfied. She took some time off from LFA Academy and played mostly infield spots with Acers Kasner 12u for 2009 regular season. Adam has brought her speed up and cleaned-up her mechanics. He also worked on her 'mental game' and put her on a high calorie diet which included peanut butter and jelly sandwitches. Megan goes hard for 3 hour practices with Acers then another 2 hours per week with Coach Adam. It was the middle of Summer and Megan wanted back on the mound. I took her to LFA Pitching Camps and Adam kicked her butt in shape, made her arm much stronger and Megan did the rest, I asked her if she can make the committment and she said alright. Undefeated on Saturday at Thurston County Fastpitch Association (TCFA) Tournament
.
"With great hitting and base-running from all the players, PBJ's really did well. Including "shut-out" pitching efforts by Kendahl and Cheyanne. The highlight of the weekend was finishing the game to the very end for the victory decided by an International Tie-Breaker with Kendahl scoring the winning run. Congratulations!" - coach Adam
.
The Bluejays had a phenomenal weekend in Olympia at the TCFA Tournament. Out of the 17 teams that entered the tourney, only two teams were undefeated and the Bluejays was one of them!
.
Due to the players hard work and determination we ended up with the 3rd place trophy. The last two games were very nerve-racking for the coaches and parents. It started Sunday morning with a come-from-behind victory in the bottom of the last inning and ended Sunday afternoon with an extra-inning two-hour game victory! Awesome job ladies! Also, thanks to our parents/fans for their tremendous support. The girls really appreciated it.

About LFA Academy Pitchers and Hitters:
LFA Academy Players have won several championships and placed in the Top Ten at ASA 16A and 18gold Nationals in 2006 and 2008.

Adam conducts weekly Pitching and Hitting Camps for several ASA Teams of all age divisions the last 9 years in Washington. Many high school players have trained with Adam from Seattle, Tacoma, Puyallup and Graham, Wa. Some of Adam’s High School Players reached the Division Finals Championships in 2007-2008 and won High School State Championships back to back.
LFA Players placing Top Ten at ASA Nationals in 2007-2008 seasons with their respected 16a and 18gold teams. Those players have all received college offers. Some of those players are currently playing college level softball.

2006 - Pitching Trainer to Vashaela Naranjo, a travel ball extraordinary pitcher and leader from 2002 to 2007 in all areas of Fastpitch Softball. Dominated her competition from an early age and had her share of challenges. A starting pitcher with 2006 16A Acers Glenn, placed 9th at Nationals in outstanding performances on the mound. Shay had an ability to make everyone around her "better" and was a college stand-out recruit at ASA/NSA Colllege Exposure Tournaments around the Country. This Legend of Auburn Washington will be missed by all who knew "Shay" and the game she loved.

Shay became the inspiration behind many successful Select and College pitchers today. Also, the motivation behind LFA and her godfather, Adam, trainer/coach. Shay's training attitude and dedication changed fastpitch pitching training standards and how they should be conducted in the future.
